New Signal Hill Oversight Board begins its process of dissolving redevelopment

Suspect succumbs in officer-involved shooting after firing at man and police officer

On Thursday, April 19, 2012, at approximately 12:02am, officers from the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) responded to a shooting in the area of Pacific Coast Highway and Pacific Avenue that resulted in a murder and an officer-involved shooting, according to a press release issued by the LBPD.
