Police investigating murder of Las Vegas man whose body was found in Long Beach

On Thursday, July 5, at approximately 10:38am, officers from the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) responded to the 1300 block of Temple Avenue regarding a shooting that resulted in the death of an adult male.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located a male victim inside a vehicle parked along the curb. The man had sustained multiple gunshots to the upper body, and paramedics determined that he was deceased at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Jasper Dukes, a 43-year-old resident of Las Vegas. There is no suspect description available at this time, and it is undetermined if the incident is gang-related.
