SH library inviting kids’ stuffed animals for sleepover adventure

For those who wonder what goes on in the library at night, the Signal Hill Public Library, 1770 E. Hill St., is inviting kids age 2 to 10 years old to find out “second-hand.”
As a free event on Friday, Aug. 3 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, the library will host kids, along with one of their favorite stuffed animals, in a craft-making session, a bedtime story and a snack. Then, the stuffed animals will stay overnight for a sleepover adventure. The next day, between 10am and 5pm, kids can return and pick up their special friend, along with a photo album that shows the adventures they had during their sleepover.
Parents are encouraged to help kids choose a stuffed animal that will not be missed too much during the sleepover, and parents must accompany their children during the event.
