LB Performing Arts Center welcomes Jam Theatricals for 2007-08 season

SMG and the Long Beach Performing Arts Center announce Jam Theatricals as their new Broadway Presenter and the upcoming 2007-08 Broadway in Long Beach Season at the Terrace Theater.
Presented by Jam Theatricals, the 2007-08 Broadway in Long Beach Season will include Luis Bravo’s Forever Tango, the internationally acclaimed dance spectacular; Evita, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s portrayal of the dynamic, larger-than-life persona of Eva Peron; Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance, the international Irish dancing extravaganza; and Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy, featuring graceful aerialists, spine bending contortionists and vine swinging characters.
Two additional shows, The Fresh Aire Music of Mannheim Steamroller, featuring innovative arrangements and groundbreaking sound and Rob Becker’s Defending the Caveman, the longest running one-man show in Broadway history, are also scheduled. Defending the Caveman will be presented in the Center Theater.
Jam Theatricals is a Chicago-based entertainment company that presents and produces Broadway engagements throughout North America. Founded in 1997 by Arny Granat, Jerry Mickelson and Steve Traxler, Jam Theatricals manages subscription seasons in more than 30 cities.
Jam has presented many notable national touring productions including Cats, The Producers, Stomp, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia!, Hairspray, Miss Saigon and Riverdance. They also produce national tours for the stage, including Eric Idle Exploits Monty Python, Barrage and Love Letters.
In addition, Jam Theatricals produces on Broadway, and is the recipient of three Tony Awards for The History Boys (Best Play), Monty Python’s Spamalot (Best Musical) and Glengarry Glen Ross (Best Revival of a Play).

Subscriptions for the 2007-08 Broadway in Long Beach Season are available now. Subscriptions range from $109 to $190 for the four scheduled shows.
