Public invited to provide input for Southeast Area Specific Plan

The City of Long Beach has scheduled two workshops to inform the community about the Southeast Area Specific Plan, which is a three-year effort to comprehensively review and update the zoning code historically known as the Southeast Area Development and Improvement Plan (SEADIP).
The free workshops will feature similar content and are scheduled for:
• Wednesday, April 23 at 6:30pm, Best Western Golden Sails Hotel Seafarer Room, 6285 E. Pacific Coast Highway
• Saturday, April 26 at 10am, Seaport Marina Hotel, 6400 E. Pacific Coast Highway
Both workshops will provide the community with an opportunity to participate in an interactive visioning exercise, speak one-on-one with project team members and discuss ideas with fellow community members.
Additional community outreach efforts during this process will offer several opportunities for the public to provide input on the new plan that will affect 1,500 acres of southeast Long Beach.
