Local Salvation Army chapter dedicates new Social Service offices and Hispanic Ministries facility

The Salvation Army Long Beach Citadel hosted a dedication of its new Social Service offices and Hispanic Ministries facility at 3090/3092 Long Beach Blvd. on the morning of Aug. 12. Pictured above, from left, are: Pedro Blanco, project manager for KARDENT Architects, the firm responsible for the facility’s architecture; Richard Dilday, president of KARDENT Architects; Captains Moy and Erika Hernandez, corps officers of Long Beach Salvation Army Corps; Lt. Colonel Douglas O’Brien, from the Salvation Army’s Western Territorial Headquarters and who served as the dedication speaker; Captain Grady Brown, secretary for business at Divisional Headquarters; Steve Trifon of Consolidated Construction Group, the project contractor; Irene Camagong, divisional property director; and Lt. Colonel Douglas Riley, divisional commander for the Southern California Division. After the dedication service, organizers conducted tours of the Social Service offices, Food Pantry and Hispanic Ministries for those in attendance.
