Long Beach Police Department seeks help in identifying robbery suspects

The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying two suspects who violently robbed a 62-year-old woman on Wednesday, May 10.
At approximately 9:40pm that night, the victim was walking in the area of 9th Street and Linden Avenue when two suspects approached her from behind. One of the suspects punched her in the face, and she fell to the pavement.
After she fell, one of the suspects dragged her several feet. During the assault, one of the suspects took her cellphone. Both suspects immediately ran from the area. The victim was treated by a physician for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspects are described as males of dark complexion who are between 20 and 25 years old, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall and 160 pounds.
