LBPD identifies three suspects in Oct. 7 murder

Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) homicide detectives have identified three suspects in the Oct. 7 murder of 47-year-old Deon Robinson of Carson.
The suspects were arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 7. The case was presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office the next day.
Charges were filed against: Brandon Vincent Davis, for one count of murder and one count of attempted murder, with a bail amount of $4,040,000; Darshay Holland, for one count of witness intimidation with a gang enhancement and a bail of $1,040,000; and Ricky Lee Vaughn for one count of “ex-felon with a handgun” with a gang enhancement and bail set at $135,000.
The defendants are being held at the Los Angeles County Jail.
The shooting took place in the 1200 block of E. 56th Street, and a second male adult was injured.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located both victims in the street. Robinson had been struck in the torso and determined deceased at the scene by Long Beach Fire Department paramedics.
The second victim was struck in the lower body and was transported to a local hospital in serious but stable condition. He is only being identified as a 36-year-old resident of Long Beach.
