Kids Kamp accepting applications

Kids Kamp, a state-licensed childcare program at the Signal Hill Youth Center offered Monday thru Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. by the City of Signal Hill Community Services Department, is currently accepting applications for school-age children ranging from Head Start (4 years, 9 months) to fifth grade.
A supervised enrichment program, Kids Kamp is designed to provide well-rounded educational experiences for children. Children attending Alvarado and Signal Hill Elementary are escorted to and from school and participate in activities that include arts and crafts, games, science and nature, cooking, music/ drama, sports, homework time, reading and special events.
Kids Kamp offers before- and after-school and extended care for intersession breaks.
Kids Kamp fees range from $22 to $65 dollars per week and extended day care is $95 per week for residents of Signal Hill. Non-residents must call the Signal Hill Youth Center for rates. The Signal Hill Youth Center is located at 1770 East Hill Street.
