An Abstract World, opening Aug. 5 in the main hall of the EXPO Arts Center as a part of the First Friday Art Walk, covers a wide range of contemporary and traditional abstract art, including everything from urban steam punk sculptures by artist Peter Ramirez to modern plexiglass and acrylic works by Joseph Salazar.
