Fiery Southern California-based blues-rock guitarist-vocalist Jay Gordon is back. After a brief hiatus, Gordon has emerged with a smokin’ hot new band and an upcoming area show at Curley’s Café, 1999 E. Willow Street in Signal Hill, on Tuesday, September 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. No cover. The Chicago-blues style axe slinger took home the Best Blues Group/Artist plaque at the 2007 South Bay Music Awards and performed live at the event, which took place at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center.
