A new Jack in the Box restaurant opened last Thursday at the Signal Hill Gateway Shopping Center near the intersection of California Avenue and Spring Street. “Jack’s new prototype building and contemporary interior design is a welcome departure from the familiar red and white plastic décor of older Jack in the Box restaurants,” said Gary Jones, Signal Hill community development director. “The fireplace and comfortable seating make for a pleasant dining experience.”
As the franchise boasts its “Now Open” sign, the Circuit City store just north of it displays a “Going Out of Business” sign.
