Andrea Testa (pictured), owner of FreeSpirit Yoga, 3910 Atlantic Ave., organized and hosted a “Help Haiti Recover” silent auction last Saturday to help raise money for Doctors Without Borders. “I felt compelled to rally our instructors, friends and local businesses to raise some money and help in anyway we could,” Testa said. “It was the obvious thing to do.” Music was provided by Temple Bhajan Band, and information about sponsoring food packages for Haiti was also provided. The event raised $4,600 in two hours with more promised donations to follow.
