June 4th, 2010 · No Comments · News

Aegean Designing Whims, 3782 Cerritos Ave. in Los Alamitos, will host an evening of martini drinking, olive oil tasting and dinner, to include dessert and wine, on Tuesday, June 8.
Featuring a blues band, the event will start at 6:30pm, with ticket prices set at $25 requested donation, and $30 at the door. All proceeds will benefit Food Finders in Long Beach.
Designing Whims owner Chrysteen Braun will open her interior design shop for the event, where she has hosted other similar fundraisers.
Food Finders, a nonprofit operating out of Long Beach, is celebrating its 21st year of providing food for the needy, through more than 250 agencies and shelters in Los Angeles and Orange counties. Fundraisers such as this one are especially helpful as demands for food have doubled and tripled in many areas. Money raised will help with daily operations and expenses of the nonprofit.
Those interested in attending may RSVP and pay online at foodfinders.org or by calling (562) 598-3003.
