The Long Beach Fire and Police departments will conduct a ceremony honoring those who lost their lives during the attacks of September 11, 2001. This year marks the ninth anniversary of the tragic events that unfolded that day.
The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 9am on Chestnut Avenue, south of Broadway in front of the police/firefighter memorial.
